When we got the call to do this space, we knew it was going to be a fun one! This playroom was at a grandparents house where their grandchildren are all different ages. Therefore, the space needed to have very distinct zones and different play areas for the grandchildren that was relative to their age and interests.

The room already had some really cute pieces, but it needed a few new storage and design elements to take it to the next level.

We added an under the tv storage console to house all of the smaller toys. Inside the drawers, we added in a few bins to contain like items in smaller categories. This system will be able to grow with the client as her grandchildren get older.

We also added several shelves for all of the books so they weren’t all over the floor. This will be easy clean up for the kids as they can quickly and easily put books back as they are finished with them.

The client already had some sweet, keepsake artwork that her own children had created when they were younger and photos of her grandchildren that we were able to use as wall decor for a very personal touch.

Most importantly, we brought new ideas and creativity to the space and created zones with the client and their needs in mind. This space already had several distinct areas in the room, so we were able to move some things around to make it more functional and new!
